#CrimsonAshPH {tour launch and giveaway!}

Hello, everyone! I hope no one has grown tired of my blog tours just yet because after the recently concluded #EsmePH blog tour for the stunning YA fantasy novel of Elizabeth Foster, Esme’s Wish (read my review!), today marks the start of another one.

Crimson Ash, the book featured in this blog tour, is the thrillingly suspenseful, hauntingly dark YA novel of debut author Haley Sulich. Its story falls under the realm of my absolute favorite genre – science fiction, specifically dystopian. I’ll be keeping my lips sealed for the most part, but of course, more information on Crimson Ash is available in the latter portion of this post. (Plus, if I’m being honest, the #CrimsonAshPH blog tour features a ton of talented, insightful book bloggers who can probably introduce you to this novel a lot better than I can!)

I was really glad to be given the privilege to organize a tour for Crimson Ash because its official publication date is still a couple of months away (read: May 2018), and it’s been such a joy on my part to give other people the opportunity to read the story of Ember and Solanine before its release to the rest of the world! But I digress.

Let me kick off this blog tour with this short but impactful little passage from Crimson Ash:

And there you have it! You can add this book on Goodreads, and pre-order a copy via Amazon, Barnes & Noble or IndieBound. You can also try your luck and enter the blog tour’s Rafflecopter giveaway (which is open to international readers) to win a signed Advanced Reader’s Copy (ARC) of Crimson Ash. Interested?

You may live as a soldier or face death. Choose wisely.

Solanine Lucille wants her little sister back. Eight years ago, the government kidnapped her sister Ember, stole her memories, and transformed her into a soldier. But Solanine refuses to give up. Now that she and her fiancé have located the leader of a rebel group, she believes she can finally bring Ember home. But then the soldiers raid the rebels, killing her fiancé and leaving Solanine alone with her demons and all the weapons needed for revenge.

After raiding a rebel camp, sixteen-year-old Ember doesn’t understand why killing some boy bothers her. She’s a soldier—she has killed hundreds of people without remorse. But after she fails a mission, the rebels hold her hostage and restore her memories. Ember recognizes her sister among the rebels and realizes the boy she killed was Solanine’s fiancé.

Ember knows she can’t hide the truth forever, but Solanine has secrets too.

As their worlds clash, the two sisters must decide if their relationship is worth fighting for. And one wrong move could destroy everything—and everyone—in their path.

Haley Sulich currently lives in Minnesota, but she hopes to own a house near the beach someday. Her writing inspiration stems from her battle with depression, which shows through the darker elements of Crimson Ash. Starting out on Wattpad, she was a Featured Author on the site for over a year. She’s also the founder of the book-editing and publishing company Write Plan. When she isn’t writing or editing, she likes watching horror movies, paintballing, taking photographs, and eating ice cream, which happens to be half of her diet.

        1. Oh! It’s pretty simple. Once sign-ups are closed, participants will receive a copy of the book to read and review as well as the tour kit, which contains all the info needed (author, book, blog tour, giveaway). In my case, I usually give at least a 2-week period for everyone to finish the book. Then the participants will post their reviews on their blogs based on the blog tour schedule as well as cross-post said reviews on Goodreads, Amazon, etc. 😊

          That’s the gist of it! Of course, there are variations rin to blog tours. I’ve organized ones that include a Twitter chat by the end of the blog tour. Some blog tours don’t necessarily require reviews, like you can simply post excerpts and/or other promotional content on your scheduled date. For me kasi, my tours are almost always review-only so they’re required, but participants can opt to post additional content like custom graphics and playlists. 😊

          Ayun. If you have other questions, just let me know!
